But it's a muscle car.

I'm really not a fan of the wing at all

Chevelles were muscle cars. 442s were muscle cars. GTOs were muscle cars. Camaros were pony cars.

If it were going to be a hatchback the cutline for it would be like the Stingray on the outside of the rear window. People were already complaining about rear visibility with it being a hatchback that would even be worse. Plus a hatchback would increase weight instead of reducing it. It would need more structural reenforcement for that big hole in the back.

Looking at the pictures one more time, I believe you're right. If the cutline continues under the wing like shown below, we clearly have a trunk lid.

The 5thgen convertible has a shorter trunk lid than the coupe does and I have no problems getting stuff in the trunk.

The way that taillight cuts into the quarter panel, I could see as a throwback to '74-'81s, as well.

There appears to be no room for a convertible top? And if there is one it will not have any trunk room.

A, we have already seen convertibles in cammo.
B. the current convertible's top folds down and takes up about the top 1/2 of the trunk space leaving the bottom half of the trunk available for storage plus a portion of the trunk near the bumpaer at full trunk depth.

No reason the Gen6 convertible won't work the same way.

You don't buy a convertible if you need huge trunk space.
