I'm sure the MRC and NPP will be stand alone options on the SS like the C7, which are not that expensive but certainly will add up quickly.

it'll be hard to find a 1SS with the only options being these two. Hell you couldn't even find a 1LE with no other options. If I can find a 1SS with just the magnetic ride control at the option price of $1800 I'd be good.

...Drive mode selector....nice, and thank you Corvette...lol...
Wasn't mentioned, but hopefully the modes in SS and V-6 will include on/off for AFM in both manual and automatics...and Start/Stop on/off in the V-6.... Will be interesting to see what is optional, what is standard, and what might be left on the table for a 1LE, if it is even relevant... |

If I buy a new Camaro, it will definately be a daily driver. Since my garage is under my master bedroom, stealth mode will be nice for pulling out in the morning without disturbing the wife too much.
Track mode is for... well I'm sure you know the rest. |

It will set the technological benchmark for the segment! THIS has me excited! I really think the data log recorder is a no brainer now! And with mag ride control... F'me this is really getting me excited. Good job gm on this lengthy role out. This really is working for me !

This artcle didn't mention electronic differential. I wonder if any of the Camaro models are getting it. It sounds perfectly feasable considering the selector switch and the various modes. I bet the eDIFF is helpfull in snow/ice mode under winter conditions.

This is great news for us, wonder what excuses "The Pill" will come up with.

That looks like an oil cooler to me, hopefully a 1LE type performance package will include a dry sump, like the z51 on the corvette

The tri Ys better be standard with how much they are showing them.
As long as they build a 1LE without the MRC, I'll be happy.

Tri Y's look nicer than the 5.0 Tri-Y's (which look more like Tri-T's)
There probably won't be much reason to go to LT headers. |
