Moisture in my headlights?!

so im at the gas station and walking back towards my car and i notice a foggy haze on the INSIDE of my headlight (halos) in a U shape maybe two inches in height that starts at the very bottom of the headlight... now the weather is cool and we've been getting alot of rain but is this a problem or is it just going to go away?
im assuming if there is moisture in there its not going to come out?
anyone have this happen?
does it stay?
will it go away?
im worried

As long as you didnt do anything (mods) to the headlight....this should not be happening. Take it to the dealer.

should not happen - -suspect a bad seal. It's a warrantable item, so stop by your dealer - they will take care of you!

Our apologies - we don't ever want you to have to take a car back for something like this.

Anyone else have this problem ? Or know what the fix was ? Mine is doing the same thing, and I'm wondering if I can buy a new headlight assembly ? Also, that headlight is burnt out, and I'm wondering if it's burnt out because water is getting in there ? I'd hate to buy a new bulb and it burns out in a week from water ?

The fix is replacing the head light, no other way to fix it.

The housing is leaking because it's the seal is broken or the bulb is backed out possibly and not sealing against the housing.

Thanks. Is this a common problem ? Or am I in the minority ?

Also, are there any other super common issues with the 2010's ? I know every car has it's small problems, and usually on a forum everyone is well aware and they are dealt with fairly easily..

Anything else to watch for on a 2010 ?

Thanks ! And by the way I just joined and look forward to learning a lot here

Thats actually a pretty good price Brand New at $394...
Just take the headlight out and try to locate the leak.
Grab some crystal clear outdoor grade silicone and seal the lens again to the housing.
check that the hid cover is on the back tightly and gasket is good. Same with turn signal bulb.

thats alot of moisture inside so its probally the hid cover or turn signal cover.

did you wash the car and it looked like that after.

Hey, I just bought the car yesterday, and it's a 2010, so I believe the 3 yr / 36,000 mile is up because of the age, it only has 29,000

So I'm assuming warranty is over ? and I bought it 3 hours away from a mom and pop dealer , doubt they will eat the cost of fixing it.

When I got to the dealer, I noticed it, but thought it wasn't a big deal , I've had headlights with moisture before, never really cared.

but on the drive home, I realized the headlight was burnt out , so that sucks.

I'm worried about buying a new headlight, only to have it fry from water getting in. .

I think I am going to just pull the headlight assembly out, and use clear caulk on it, and try to re-seal it, and buy a new bulb .. .. then later, if I have to buy a new one

Do you know how to pull the headlight assembly, does the front fascia have to come off ?
