Ever get use to the stares?

My uncle borrowed my car and he says that everyone looked at him like a celebrity. He even said a kid ran up to him and said he knew my car from his video game. It is almost surreal how Camaros get the attention of people as if it were worth 2x-3x the actual cost. Chevy did a good job.

Had a mother and daughter stare at my car today at the stop light as I was coming from getting my car hand washed. I just look at them, smiled and made a right turn hard around the corner so I can tail fish the rear end a little bit! Yeah! I showed off! But F it! LOL!

At the intersection where the gas station is everyone will wait until I go trough the intersection whether it's my turn or not. They just sit there until I go! I love it.

I don't really look but I don't get alot of Stares I think, there's a crap ton of Camaros around here. You really have to get on the appearance mods to catch eyes. I will say you don't see alot of SS models, prob 1 SS for every 15 6's you see around here.

I have an IOM ZL1 vert, so I basically am begging to be stared at. Lol...

Honestly, I absolutely love it. It's fun to be stopped at gas stations by people asking about it and saying how gorgeous it is. Fantastic!

Speaking about staring at ZL1 verts, when I was buying my car I had no intention on buying a ZL1, but I stared at the yellow Z in the showroom with the top down more than my soon to be car.

Its ironic. I do get the stares when im driving. Mostly cause they probably want to try and see the person who is driving, but with tints it hard to tell... I get more people asking me at work about my Camaro when it is just sitting at the parking lot. Eveerybody comes up and asks "yo who's Camaro is out there? It is nice looking"

that's the perks of making my dream car into what I want it to be like.

There were a lot of stares in 2009. After that it was just another mass produced car and a dime a dozen on the road

I think a lot of it has to do with location, some places are more saturated with them then others and they could stand out more compared to the level of vehicles in that area. Here I'd say at least twice a week on my drive to work I'm passed or I pass a car that costs at least 150-200k, hell in my parking garage at work there's 2 Maserati's, an Aston Martin and a Bentley... Hell there's 4 SS 5th gens including Mine in there. Some areas though it would be unheard of to see a car like that, so a decked out 5th gen is the equivalent of a me seeing a Ferrari. If that makes any sense
