Is The Black ZL1 Boring? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have a black coupe with polished aluminum wheels and exposed carbon fiber extractor. I feel like the car is boring looking. With the black rims it is even more boring.
It is also much harder to tell that it is a ZL1.

Am I just used to my car? Just nuts, or is black boring?

Hmm I'll swap black cars with you

You think a custom colored racing stripe package may work? Maybe add a bit of a contrasing color that'll really make the extractor pop? Red? Blue?

I don't think its boring, the look of the wheels, with the hood really make the car

Black vehicles with a little chrome or polished aluminum are the best looking vehicles on the road IMO!

I have black w/ black wheels and I think it is anything BUT boring! But, everyone has their own opinion- with that said it's your car, if you think it's boring do something to make it pop!!

not boring at all, I think the darker colors look tougher.

Well...
The murdered out look has been around for a while, and many people have done it.
With the sliver wheels at least there was some nice contrast.

You have to admit a black on black ZL1 is a SEXY beast.

while mine is not a ZL1 my all black on black all clean is SEXY.

Ha...I'll go with the you are nuts option. Yeah, you do get used to any car...start seeing things you didn't notice before, find an angle when you look at it that isn't as appealing as others. That's what mods are for...bring back the excitement or maybe a detailed clean and polish. I noticed you are in Maryland...maybe you just need some nice weather to finally come so you can enjoy the car again.
