Take it to the dealership and have them replace it, it should take about 1-4 hours depending on the dealership having a body shop. Also, you might have to wait a week or two because of the part being on order.

The front fascia definitely has to come off. It's not hard to get it off though. You really need 2 people to handle it and a soft place to put it, so you don't scuff it up.

Also, are there any other super common issues with the 2010's ? I know every car has it's small problems, and usually on a forum everyone is well aware and they are dealt with fairly easily..

Anything else to watch for on a 2010 ?

Thanks ! And by the way I just joined and look forward to learning a lot here
The early '10s were famous for the rear spoilers coming loose. I'd think that they were all fixed by now or the spoilers would have fallen off. Is yours a stick or auto? Some of the early TR6060s had defective output shafts, but again, if it hasn't broken by now, it's probably not going to.

Oh, I saw your car in another thread. You've got a V6. You don't have a TR6060, even if you do have a manual.

Ya the front fascia must come off to remove the headlight. But you can access from under the hood the headlight bulb and turn signal bulb. Maybe they forgot to put the haedlight bulb cap on because thats alot of water in there and looks like maybe some access hole is open.

if you just bought it then it should come with some type of warranty. But in my state that would be a safety fail and i wouldnt get a safety inspection for moisture in the headlight.

plus with it being used maybe the previous owner opened the lights up for aftermarket lighting and didnt seal them good?

Myself and my brother have 2010s neither have had headlight moisture issues, so I don't think it's a common issue.

I don't have HIDs in mine though, my brother does.

Was it under warranty ? If not, what was the total bill if you don't mind me asking ? So I have an idea of what to expect.

This happened to mine. I had to replace it. My dealer was an a** about it so I never went back to deal with them and went ahead and got a refurbished one.

After certain types of weather instances such as very quick shifts in humidity and dry air, a minimal fogging up of the headlamp is normal. It should go away shortly after or once the headlights are turned on. These are vented headlight systems, afterall. They aren't 100% sealed.

Heavy condensation like what is shown in the pics is not normal.

Looks like the dealer is going to pay half of the cost of assembly and labor .. works for me. going aftermarket headlight assembly for $500 and around $250 labor I believe, and I will be paying half that ...

Thats better than nothing .
