I was told it's the new version with the solid isolator. The 2014's already come with this updated version, which is why they are not affected.

17,000 miles on mine and it was well warmed up when they heard the rattle both at idle and to a lesser degree as you revved the engine to 1,500rpm

They're going to order a new SC in the morning.
No arguing at all.

11149 miles engine locked up driving down the autobahn at 75 mph. Happened Thursday night. Now have to get it towed to the dealer. Removed the belt to check and make sure the engine would turn over so far so good. Let's see if they will change out the SC.

As is can't participate on the ext. warranty, and don't have any rattle now, i'm asking myself if it would make any sense to change the isolator myself (let a garage do it)? How hard is it?

Am just past 7k Miles, and have no rattle.

It didn't help I change mine out at 2200 miles and now I have the failure. I am going to see if I can still get GM to do the warrenty work. Since the mods did not cause the problem it should have only fixed it. But the damage must have been done before the replacement.

Overdriving a blower certainly violates the warranty. And if you move the redline up, that does it too. It's because of heat.

The correct way to get more boost is to put a larger turbo or supercharger on the engine to keep temps in check.

The 03 Cobra guys found this out in a hurry.

Thank you. That really causes me quite a headache. Darn.
