Yup. Unfortunate that GM took the path they did with the new halos.

I bought my colorshift halos from www.phastekperformance.com

Had to remove the front bumper, take the lights out, and bake them in the oven to heat up the cealant...it was a pain in the butt but well worth it!

I have jdp kit what do u add from nightowl? Had to send back my kit but now I cant change colors with it now!

If you still have the RGB LEDs in the headlight , all you need is the upgrade kit from Night Owl. Which has the Master and HP module.
If you took out the LEDs you will need the Complete Halo kit.

...all you need is the upgrade kit from NightOwl...for $400+ dollars!!! Haha.

I would go with the upgrade if it wasn't so pricey and if I didn't like my JDP halos...but I do like them for what they do.

My JDP control box filled up with water so I sent it back to them and now I'm just waiting for it's return. JPD customer service has been second to none so far and I'm very happy with them. I'll be happy with them if I get a good, working control box back. The generic remote works for me. Plus....as of two weeks ago NightOwl didn't have the app for Samsung phone users.

Not saying NightOwl isn't better! I'm just saying I'm happy with (working) JDP halos, and not having to pay for the NightOwl upgrade.
