All that P.O.S. Rat rod style but it has nice clean HID headlamps?? Lol! He failed at his goal from there.

Could have been a vandalized car too.

I do remember it popping up early with the 5th gen life cycle though.

To be honest, I kind of dig it for several reasons.
1- You never have to wash it.
2- You don't have to worry about pigeons, or getting dings at a parking lot.
3- It's pretty ballsy to do that on purpose, regardless of whether or not you like it.

The bottom line is it really does look like it means business. This is how the cars in all of our favorite films end up looking like, whether it's Dirty Mary Crazy Larry, Vanishing Point or any of the other great car movies.
I would NEVER do this myself, but for some reason, I DO like it. The ONLY thing I don't like is the actual writing with marker.

At this point he doesn't have to worry about cosmetic mods at all, he can dump all his money into go-fast-goodies!

It's definitely a love or hate thing....and I love it! Very original and unique.
I kinda like the rat rod look and it takes talent to accelerate the age of paint properly on a modern car. I wouldn't do it on my car though.

Looks like the guy/girl wants a badass performing car (judging by the supercharger, suspension, braking system, etc) and a unique looking car as opposed to the dime a dozen LS's, LT's, SS's, 1LE's, and even (but not quite so much) ZL1's.
