Pretty interesting.

Two different eras represented here.

I've ran with a few Tesla's in my Hellcat on a private road.

Up to about 85 MPH the Tesla is a pure Rocket. After that the Hellcat catches and overtakes.

But nothing, and I do mean NOTHING will be able to deal with the Tesla sports car. It will even dominate hypercars. It should have an inherent advantage in handling with a lower center of gravity as well.

It's like, what is even the point of modding our cars anymore?? You can just run into some yuppie sipping his latte in a Tesla and he'll put buslengths on anything. :(

A real test would have been with the A10 from a dig.

It would not have mattered. The electric drivetrain dominates for this type of application. Instant torque with 700 HP behind it and AWD. Even a well driven Demon will also have a very hard time with the Tesla.

This is simply superior tech.

Didn’t the Tesla win this years greatest drag race against many super cars?

There is always something faster out there. But for me the Tesla is just boring as hell. The interior is plain and uninteresting, the exterior is generic and not aggressive at all, and flooring it creates about as much noise as me reading a magazine on my couch. I’ve been in a P90D a few times and experienced its nutty acceleration...but it didn’t do anything for me. The lack of mechanical sound and a roaring exhaust note just kills the whole experience for me. Would it be kinda cool to have for a commuter car...sure! If I had $110k extra laying around.

That bog is uggggglllllyyyyyy

I think the a10 would have still lost but NOWHERE NEAR LIKE THAT. The Telsa put 2 busses on the m6 while the car was bogging......then basically maintained the gap. Again, Tesla would still leave harder than an a10, but man this race was doomed from the matchup.

Mod to make you happy, and when you hear that engine roar it will put a smile on your face. No electric car can do that, thats why Lexus has "engine sound" coming from the speakers .

A car is like chick needs to have a little personality, not like electric = blow up doll. Lol jk.

The results were what would be expected. The Tesla is an 1/8 mile car that trails off after that. Don't get me wrong, it's still a 10 second capable car when equipped with the ludicrous option, but most cars with equal quarter mile times will have higher mph. In a roll race, fast cars will stand a far better chance because you'll be taking the Tesla's biggest advantage out of the equation. Like others have said, it doesn't do much for me either. I like the looks of a BMW M series, or most AMG Benz's better.

There's a vid on YouTube a white Z A10 and a white Tesla that race is at a strip and a lot closer. Tesla still gets the win but nowhere near the beating.
