What would you call the finish on the Black Wheels?
Hey all,
I'm looking to get my rims powder coated since they're not painted all the way around. I want to keep the look but I'm having a hard time telling what kind of finish I would call it. I know it's not matte so that leaves basically Gloss or Satin

A good shop will show you the sheen from flat black to gloss in 10% increments

Any reputable powder coater will have thousands of color chips to compare against, I've been powder coating for 13 years and there are thousands of different colors to choose from it's just your preference. Good luck!

The coater can look at the wheels and get close. Probably a 20%-30% smooth black
