That was my first thought as well. But it seems like the market they are trying to hit for this car is for the people that want a car that is almost a Race car. Its completely stripped down and when you factor in the weight and the restrictions of the AC compressor you free up power and weight

I like how everyone dogged the Camaro for being overweight, but when they make the Z/28 300 pounds lighter than the ZL1, they are surprised to hear things like stereo equipment and trunk carpeting got the axe. If I had money for a car of this caliber, I would get it. But I'm happy with my 1SS because of what I even use the car for.

My first thought when I saw they had the recaro seats. Depending on how they are made and what functions you can keep with them I would very interested to see if they can go into the 10-13s

Its the other way around now. The Z28 has a way more expensive engine and much more in the way of performance. It'll be at least a 10k premium over the SS.

While the concept is awesome I would love to have a 427 in a car that is comfortable and has things like AC and carpet in the trunk. I have no doubt the car will be awesome just hope there is the ability to make it a driver like a Z06 can be with the fluff.

the SS we saw yesterday looks like a shitty masking to keep something new... but the z28 front end with that mesh stye grille and redesigned headlights makes it look AMAZING since they were designed for it
