I might change my color choice to Shock if they offer it. And I’m more seriously considering the 1LE package, but I’m not sure.

This is if my car that’s on order comes without heated/cooled seats. In which case I will cancel my order and reorder for a 23.

I live in Canada, not sure if those options are available to me? I did call a bunch of dealers, no allocations for anything similar to what I am looking for.

True. Not sure how that would work. But perhaps someone on here will be able to shed some light on the subject.

I ordered my 1SS 1LE 6 speed on 31 Jan and yesterday my dealer phoned me to let me know that my build date is 15 May.

Got a call earlier in the week from a dealership I had spoken to a month or so back. He was getting in an allocation for 2 Camaros this week and he wanted to know if I was still looking. He didn't know what trims would be available to him, so he said he'd call me later in the week once he had that info.

Called me this morning and said he could get me the 2SS I was looking for, so I went up the the dealership after work today and put in the order. It's scheduled to be accepted by GM on Tuesday, which hopefully means I'll have it by June or July, barring any other delays.

Oh, and I did switch the color over to Rapid Blue from Riverside Blue!

Thanks for the post! Looks completely the same haha. I am excited to see Sharkskin metallic though.

Bummed they’re continuing the no heated/cooled seat trend.

Hey all,

I ordered a 2022 LT1 in February. Order was accepted and is at 3100 status. Original TPW was 04/18 that was pushed to 05/09. I’ve read that if the order is past 3000 it will be built before MY23 changeover, is this true? I ordered satin steel metallic which is being discontinued for MY23. Anyone have history of orders being canceled because of colors no longer being available? I’m just worried with 23MY expected 06/06 that mine might not make the cut for production.

Thanks guys!

How do you figure out which dealer has a lot of allocations?

I am very annoyed - the 1LE Satin Steel that I ordered since 12/10/2022 has not been built yet, and I doubt it ever will be. My dealer never communicated to me that the color was on constraint, and never gave me updates.

For me it was simply a matter of calling around to a bunch of dealerships within the area I was willing to travel to. None of them ended up having any allocations, but once called me back last week to say he was getting 2 Camaro allocations and wanted to know if I was still in the market. Luckily, one of those was a 2SS model, and I was able to place the order with them last Friday, and the order has already been accepted by Chevy.

Much better than the 5 month wait I had with my original order where the dealer never got an allocation. While I feel bad for not getting the car from them (have had a close relationship with the dealer for many years), it came down to either getting an order in now, or waiting and possibly never getting my order accepted.
