650 rwhp which clutch
I know there are several posts but I can find anything very recent and stuff changes year to year. So what'd everyone's opinion on a good clutch for the 650 to possibly 750 some day range? Not interested in spending 2 grand on a clutch! Thanks in advance!

I have the centerforce dyad. Stock feel and hold all my 740rwtq. Did the stock clutch not like the track session tody?

Would you like to have a clutch that drives better than stock and last for years and years and when the thing finally wears out you can rebuild it for about half the price?

I am thinking about getting ZR1 twin disc clutch with a billet flywheel for my car. also get a spacer and install clutch release spring.

Price range like 800, 900, or 1200?
Same boat... I was going to buy a LS2 flywheel and run a Dual friction center force. LS2 flywheel is cheap and the centerforce is under 500.00 the center force lasted on my 96 Lt4 10 years it was a 383 with lingenfelter heads, cam, intakes and vortec T rim. They really got us by the balls, Thanks GM! They put that dam ridge or flywheel so you cant run a larger clutch for extra clamping force.. So when you buy a Mcloud or any brand 300.00 is wasted to the flywheel in the clutch kit making a 7 or 800 clutch in the 1000s. If I had $2400 I'd buy the clutch from H.E., but I have kids fixing to drive so I'm limited. I have NO plans for slicks just occasional burn outs and some rolling starts on the freeway at times from an idiot in lambo or Ferrari..

I agree with Rumbumbee.. I'd recommend the Mantic (ER2/9000) & Mcleod (RXT) brands. Great value for the money with proven applications on the road taking steady abuse. ZR1 crowd is 50/50 split I'd say but for the money you can have a higher rated twin in your car.
Depends what sort of abuse its going to see at that power level.
