Think of it this way, if you bought a black 1ss it would have been colour matched.

Did yours come with the center black over the roof rally stripe? If so that is why the fin was black too.

I actually like the black roof ditch moldings, and I replace my headlights with custom HID projectors - but yes you are correct. I didn't realize the RS vs non-rs package included such things.
