DIY oil change void warranty?

As the title says, I’m thinking about doing my oil changes on my own. I have trust issues due to the many problems I’ve had with my dealership. With that being said, would my warranty be voided if I were to change the oil in my garage?

More specifically, oil with the specifications listed in the manual. Doesn’t have to be any particular brand.
Was that too specific?

I buy my filters at the dealership and make sure to reset the oil life monitor. Then the dealership has a record for every time I buy a filter.

Can you perform all the regular maintenance services yourself to avoid taking it to a dealer or shop, without voiding warranty?

Really want to avoid them touching the car. I don't trust them at all.

Yes of course. Just keep receipts of everything you purchase, and keep records of the work you do.

I log my maintenance on the https://my.chevrolet.com/myvehicle site, print it out, and keep it in a 3 ring binder with all the other receipts and paperwork on the car. Takes less time, effort, and $ than driving 5mi each way to the dealer. And the shop class flunky doesn't get his grubby hands on The Mistress.

The counter thought to this would be if DIY maint voided your warranty it would be provided free of charge to you.

Yeah free. Like Amazon Prime 2 day shipping is free. Mats from Weathertech for my Terrain $99.95 + $15 ship. Amazon Prime $114.95 free ship, lol. They would just add 2 grand to the price of the vehicle

Document your maintenance on a piece of paper- the date, what you did, oil and filter used, etc. I have a form with columns I created in Excel and just manually write in all the information. Tire rotations, oil changes, filter changes, etc. It's a very handy log to have and good to have for warranty or when you sell the car. Been doing all my own maintenance for over 40 years. My cars rarely, if ever go to the dealer or service shop. I do most everything except tires, don't have a tire or balance machine.
