Good for you for saying no. It's your car and he can go by a new one. That car has sentimental value, that sometimes money can't buy!

Plus, my Bee has been very good to me. Zero problems, zero issues. Maybe because me and my car have always had a mutual understanding since day one: It takes care of me and I take very good care of it.

I think the OP lives in a time zone 2 days behind and posted this on April 1st.

Sentimental value, my ass.

My brand new ZL-1 and the 3 week trip to Hawaii I would have after I sold the Maseratti would have created a lot of new sentimental value. Not to mention all the bills you could pay down with the left over money.

IF some crazy rich dude actually wanted to trade and it was all on the up and up, you just threw away the best financial opportunity ever. It would be like not cashing in a lottery ticket because you have sentimental value on it.

RUN, don't walk to the phone and call this guy.

Any of you saying you would have taken this offer are the real naive ones here. I agree, good for you for saying no man.

Contrary to popular belief, money cannot buy everything. At least not in my life.

I feel bad for those that say otherwise.

BTW, Happy Easter to all!
