I feel connected to the car.
It's as simple as that. I have control. I can drive a stick in my sleep. For drag racing, it's a no brainer, but for the twisties, I want that connection.

You're right!
But it'd be easier, and perhaps less sacrilegious for those that care, to do it that way; rather than stuff an A10 and the associated hardware and computers into a car that wasn't set up for it. Still better than if someone like me with a 2.0T slapped on a ZL1 1LE kit without any performance mods *glances at the cosmetic modifications forum* |

All great points guys, but I think I'll have to wait on the swap. I am considering a 10SPD ZL1 as my next car since Ill have all the mods from the 1LE if I wanted to switch things up. A good friend also brought up the point of how much more it could cost if things don't go as planned. I would have to talk to the builder and see if it would really be worth it, or would it be better to do a sequential gear box from Pfitzer. They have a sequential swap that is for the TR6060 just change the innards and be done. That route might be cheaper than a swap between cars.

OP its your car, it can be done, and you want it then get it done, it was done on a Z/28 back in the day so why not now in the ZL11LE.

It's been done on Z06s and Z/28s I guess it all depends on the cost of the swap. I'll have to call the shop building the car and ask them for info.

Is that having the parts or for parts and labor? I think more.

think its 10K+- for all the work, but that's me thinking out loud dive shafts are made by GM and all the rest is out there only hard part IMO is making all the data points connect so it works as well as a stock A10 ZL1.
