Whipple SC and bag of Marbles

Did some starts, cleared codes. Ran till fan came on, checked for leaks.
That was last week. Fixed horn bracket (WTF) Put that engineer back on his ChooChoo and send him down the track.
Anyhow...Low RPM, rattle noise at SC input pulley (bag of marbles)
Increase RPM, it goes away....I did pull the lid after 80metal's problem.
Clean, Nothing. Does (the guys that are running) have noises.
Is this fuel rail noises? I installed the K&N and close the hood.
This SC, I'm ALL over it (I got scared with "the" failure)
Just concerned at Idle with that noise

Nothing from mine as per the initial videos. Very strange and disturbing.

Man that's awful. The bag of marbles is actually normal for a procharger but not a whipple. Can you do the pipe to ear test to see where it's coming from? Then again I'd be concerned just to have it running.

Mine makes no noise at all at idle other than a slight whine. You can hear injectors but they click and are very obvious what they are.

I have stereoscopes, but don't want to run it. I believe its coming right at the pulley (input bearing)

Ya, I was reaching with the fuel rail noise. Mine is: throw 6 marbles in a bag and shake it. Rev it up, goes away, like loose bearings.

Thanks, just disgusted, one step forward two steps.....
Got all the electrical and hoses plumbed and tied nice...LOL
Now tear it down (It was just a test)
I wonder if Rob's (80smetal) is the same problem? He didn't hear it?
And drove it? Made an aluminum blender.

Tomorrow, after I calm down, I'm going to pull belt. Check for play on bearing.
Then install stock air box, see if it coming out the intake.

Same noise I had in a 2015 Hellcat. I know it's not the same SC but at idle mine sounded like a bunch of metal bouncing around but under a load it was normal ended up being a rear bearing failed and the rotors in the SC were hitting each other at idle. Ended up with a new SC. Good luck you may want to check the rotors.

I want to see what sort of coupler whipple uses between the main drive and the rotors. If it is anything like the sprung coupler in the lsa superchargers than the noise does not surprise me one bit. Maybe swap over to a solid piece if that happens to be the case.
