I'm sure many of us have met the man. So I'll toss in my "me too" comment as well.

Met him in Chicago back for the Camaro panels they did for some local car groups (2011 i think). Got his, John Fitzpatrick and Al O's signatures on the Chicago Auto Show Hot wheels cars all three were there. They spent a lot of time answering questions for us.

Hope he pulls through and gets back on his feet

Tom posted an update this morning. I'm unable to cut and paste from my tablet, but the bottom line is it appears Scott has experienced a stroke. The family nees a privacy, so watch for updates as they work through thus.

I met Scott in 1997 at a Camaro show at the Poconos in PA. We have been best friends since then. He is a true champion of the Camaro, "Fbodfather"

He will be in my prayers every night.

Semi-positive news from Tom Henry this morning (thank you for updating, Tom!). Please keep Scott and family in your prayers, but please DO NOT call the hospital or family asking for updates. It has to be overwhelming to think of the thousands of lives that Scott has touched over the years, and we're all anxious for updates, but the family needs to focus on Scott.
Continued prayers and good thoughts, Scott, we're all "Keeping the Faith" that we'll see that "permagrin" at future Camaro shows. smile emoticon

I will try to update here on Scott for general information. As of now, he is recovering from a stroke. Tests done over the weekend are as positive as they can be. Initial function signs were pretty good. They are doing a speech test today so we are praying for a positive outcome there. He seems to be progressing on a typical timeline for a stroke. I am told it could be a week or 2 before we see what we are dealing with. I am in touch with the doctors and thank heavens for his friend and doc Neil who is walking me through every test result. Please don't call the hospital or Elaine as they will be overloaded. Also know the family is working on this, let us do our job. Scott has so many great friends it is hard to deal with everybody on an individual basis. The best thing you can do is Pray. Thanks to all of you for your concern.
