Considering what the Z28 became for a few generationally, I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing.

The refresh isn’t a rumor. There’s a whole thread full of pictures.

Covered cars that have obvious changes.
Or do you believe this is some conspiracy by GM to make people think they are refreshing the Camaro, but in reality, they aren’t?

or testing of the Gen7 on the Alpha 2 platform to get the kinks out so they don't spend 15 million in warranty parts like they did the gen 6 first year of release

I doubt that. They wouldn’t be driving around with 75% of the car exposed, if it was a new generation.

Never know, ford tested aluminum bodied F-150s in plain sight. They were 14's testing the aluminum before the 15 arrived

That’s true but hopefully the 7th gen won’t look just like the 6th. If these were mules for the 7th gen, they would be made up from different parts to fit the new chassis.

I honestly don't understand Chevy's business concept. I would convert the 1Le into the Z28. I would up the ponies and call it a day. In a couple of years, I would have a Z28 1Le option. It seems Chevy would sell a ton utilizing this concept.

A Z/28 1LE would make no sense. Why would you add a track package to a track car?

I guess bc original 1LE cars were an added package to the Z28 cars during the 3rd gen. True 1LE cars had all power items removed and ac deleted plus upgraded performance goodies.
