I saw that episode of West Coast Customs when they did that. That's what got me thinking about them.

Yea I’ll definitely pass after seeing those pics. I like the solid coupe roof the best but the sunroof looks better than that…

I have them on my 87 Monte Carlo SS and while they are fun I have never got them to seal perfectly in the 25 years I have owned the car. Heavy downpours it will still get some rain in.

But for a guy like me that daily drives my cars... Definitely a no from me. I particularly searched for a 5th gen with no sunroof for that reason.
I had a 4th gen, '97 Z28, that had t-tops and the passenger side leaked every time it rained or I washed the car. Because of that car, I will never own another vehicle that has a sun roof or moon roof because no matter what you do, the rubber will eventually degrade and leak.

Truth. T-tops can't pass the rigorous roll over crash tests the NHTSA require because of how they are designed.

Ick.

I've had 2 Camaros and a Corvette with T-tops over the years (and kept them all leak free, it's actually not that tough to replace seals and to keep the seals intact) but that's butt ugly.
