Which is more reliable in tracking our cars? CSX or Union Pacific? I just called both and CSX now said there is no information on my car. Union Pacific just said that my car left the train lot this morning and will be at my dealer tonight. I sure hope that UP is correct, because I should get my car Friday if they are correct. My fingers are so CROSSED...

My dealer has been helpful. They expected my car on Tuesday and figured it would be here for sure today. However, Today is over and still no car. The wait drags on.

Eh they shouldnt have said tuesday mine said tues to friday and its unloaded on today wendsday so they got 2 days to get her.

thats why i bought a car cover to keep it clean. who knows it could be a paved parking lot, im headed on a 6 hour car trip to the forest to go river rafting, it is going to be out in the mountains at a camp.


i would be a bad camaro owner if i would leave my brand new camaro in the garage and take a boring work truck instead.

and also I live in the country...15% of the roads here are dirt :(

aw poor dirt road rather that then giant pot holes on the way to work but apprently i kicked my mom out and the camaro goes in that spot so we can fix all 6 cars in the driveway.

Same here. My rail car went "empty" status at 4pm today so that means now i'm just waiting for a short 20 mile truck drive from the lot to the dealer. Should be no reason to not expect to have it by friday...could even happen tomorrow. So stoked!!

yea i think what 30 min ride should be 5-15 miles i always see carries on the way to the airport in newark i know when my bro got his evo they like went there to pick it up from the lot i wish i could have done that but i dont think i would wanna drive home from dirty jersey in that traffic.

Yes, and the updates were really good all the way from OH through MN. It moved really quick too, went essentially the whole trip in 3 days from Canada to Cottage Grove.

That's right. The Camaro is a car. It's meant to be driven. Mine will be my daily drive. Yes it will get dirty, then I will wash it, no biggie.

That is where all our frustrating waiting is at. Mine has been unloaded since Sunday night and empty and I am still waiting....

mines been waiting since friday night heat dynasty, so begins day six. i go on vacation next tuesday for 2 weeks i dont know if i'll make it before then now, if not i may have to wait another month this sucks!!!! It apparently takes a week to load up a truck.

Depends on a lot of things but i imagine that they are going to want to move cars off the rail yard as much as possible to avoid having them sit there over the extended weekend. I also purchased from a high volume dealer, chances are they have cars waiting there also to be delivered besides mine. Honestly, i'd find it hard to believe you would wait more than a few days unless you were in a smaller city or you ordered from a lower volume dealer. Just my two cents.

Im also sitting in that lot in Jersey, waiting on a truck, but this is only day 3 for me. I spoke to my dealer last night and he said he had a truck drop off a couple camaros yesterday and was expecting more today, so obviously theres trucks out there, so it seems odd that we'd be sitting there waiting to fill up a truck. He told me that once the car is off the train it has to be "made ready" before they can get it on a truck, and he says mine wasnt "made ready" i have no idea what the hell that is about?!? he said once its ready he can mark it "HOT" so it gets priority on the truck before the other cars being delivered that were not customer orders.
Fingers and toes crossed that they get these cars moving, i want my car before the holiday weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
