6Gen Available Spring 2016?
I'm guessing since we have nothing on the 6Gen yet that one can't be had till at least the spring of 2016. If that's true when will be the last chance to order a 5Gen? Thanks.

From what I understand the 6th Gen is going to be officially revealed in January 2015 at the NAIAS and then go on sale in mid 2015 as a 2016 model. Assuming is accurate that would mean you have about 9 months left to order a 2015 5th Gen Camaro left.

But, no, there's essentially zero chance of the 5th gen still being made in calendar year 2016. |

I'd keep a eye on Motor City Masters. Its a car designer game show and chevy sponsors it, so its all chevys. Wouldn't be surprised if they reveal it on there or something.

They wouldn't reveal it on a tv show because it would not get much publicity. You will see it at the Detroit auto show for sure I think!

I don't see GM waiting that long to get the 6th gen on the lots. I would expect it to be summer or fall 2015.

Yes, but that was a refresh and a much bigger audience than MCM. Plus they found out that the car did not look good on the show due to camera angles so I don't think they want to put it on a tv show to unveil the next gen

Yeah and it was a disaster in my opinion. I enjoy watching the show minus the whiners bickering with each other and the one female judge seems pretty mean.

Generally well over a year from the first prototypes with JC Witney headlamps. Go back and check the first C7 sighting and the actual on sale date.
If GM were to unveil at the NAIAS next January then there should be spy photos now. To do a fall of 15 launch, normal 2016 MY timing would have CTF cars in less than a year. CTFs are generally 3 months or so ahead of the ship to customer date. Very possible they are doing something very secrative but we should be seeing something very soon for a January 2016 launch. And you can continue to sell a 2015 model right up to the end of that calendar year if I recall the rules for certification correctly. With no prototypes in Camo yet photographed I don't see how we get a car on sale in 13 or 14 months.
