I'm seeing alot of people saying Michelin PSS tires. Am I being too pessimistic about assuming they will go with Goodyears? Have we heard any rumors on the tire front for the performance variants of the Camaros?

(considering a regular manual SS can do a 1.00/104/4.0/12.4 with narrower run flats, and assuming the 1LE will have stickier, wider tires, and hopefully a gear swap, I think my guesses are spot on.)

Would like to the the 1LE become it's own model, not just an option package.

Upgraded Mechanical Equipment:
- Brembo 6 piston front brakes
- Electronic Differential (We can dream, can't we?)
- Specific springs and dampers
- Firmer suspension links and bushings
- Wider forged wheels, 10" front, 11" rear
- Wider tires 285 front, 305 rear

Exterior Changes:
- Black hood (it's traditional)
- 1LE badges (yeah,we gotta have stinkin' badges)
- Spoiler delete

Other:
- Recaro Option

Tire Brand/Model: Goodyear Eagle F1

Lateral G's: 1.02
Braking distance 60-0: 105 feet
0-60: 3.8 seconds Automatic
Quarter mile: 12.2 seconds Automatic

I like this setup except the black hood. And the 5th gen black hood was a break from tradition, not the tradition so I think it will go back. I don't think the black matte hood on this body style compliments the lines like the 5th gen did.

What's all of the love for the e-diff? Serious question. The BMW e-diff is crap compared to a mechanical diff so I'm curious why it's better than a good old posi setup.

Stingray's electronic differential is magic. Can't say about BMW...honestly, I'd like to see the Z/28's helical differential....

As stated by Mr. Wyndham, the ediff used in the Stingray and Z06 Corvettes is very, very good. But this is an expensive diff. I really do not see this going to the 1LE but I do see it as a possibility for ZL1 / Z28.

I'm curious when the dry sump system may be needed. I know the ZL1 doesn't have it, but the Grand Sport, Z06, ZR1 and Z/28 got it. I believe the Z51 has it as well. Is there a certain g force threshold before the wet sump system isn't acceptable?

To MRC, or not to MRC. That is the question.

I'm guessing the package price will be $4,500 not including the MRC or A8 option.

That looks like a taller version of the wing used on the SS. I prefer integrated/dovetail designs.
