GM wont advertise, and I think that's a good idea.
You need to know what a 1LE will do to your handling... for a regular driver, the SS is a SAFER car to drive.
They dont want people ignorant of the nature of the 1LE to hear about it second hand and buy it thinking itsa pretty camaro, and then have a rash of drivers who don't have track/ dynamic driving experience to spin their cars out while hurting themselves and others....
Look no further than Audi's 1st Gen TT debacle, before they added more aero to the back and reduces its tail happy issues...
The very nature of the 1LE is to make a Camaro handling dynamics go from safe understeer in almost all conditions to a car that handles much cloer to neutral, which is very rewarding, BUT requires more driver skill and vigilence.
Amen. That is also why you don't let (most) Mustang owners drive a 1LE with a little extra power.
