So I know you don't buy an SS for MPG, but today after having my car for 24 hours, I looked at the DIC and it's displaying 19.7 average MPG. That's before the fuse pull or the engine braking in. This car just continues to amaze me.

Haha...you're lucky.

I had to drive mine from LA back to the Bay Area when I bought mine, it gave me a 21mpg by the time I came home.

Now it is broken in 1800+ miles and my average MPG is around 16.5 or 16 it fluctuates.

Good Luck!...is it a V8? 2SS?

I just hit 40K on my 11. Been steady at 21mpg since new. 80% hwy though. Average speed is around 45mph

I'm jealous. I just hit the 18.9 mark up from 18.6 when I bought her. Anyone got tips that help? I know highway driving helps a lot but I've been forced to do a little city driving lately

I do mostly city driving 2LT with V6 I get mostly 16MPG average but right now I'm down to 15 with my sporadic driving doing short hops with the club; I do mostly city driving... eh did I mention that already?

anyway I am due to do a roadtrip after the break in period.

Yep, it's an SS, but not a 2SS, it's a 1SS/RS.

17-18 MPG's I am happy with that. My truck Gets 14.5 MPG's daily driving and 11-12 MPG's when I tow so it feels like a win in the Camaro.

I reached 23MPG going down to myrtle beach last year, this was mostly 2 lane highway 55 MPH (doing 60-65 most of the time).

But daily driving to work I get around 15.5, granted I don't exactly drive conservative. Can't help but get excited every time I'm first in line at a stop light!

Mine is a 2SS M6

I bought mine Friday and i checked the mpg Monday. 13.5 .. 13.5 lol. Seriously i need to learn how to drive without my foot to the ground every time i'm at a light

I have about a 7 mile commute each way in Atlanta traffic, mostly stop and go. I average about 13mpg. I enjoy the trips out of town on the weekends when I can stretch her legs and cruise on the interstate and see the numbers around 21mpg.

I bought the car originally to do driving to and from work which is a total 110 mile commute each day.

Reason for Auto: Too much freaking traffic on 580 n 680 during mornings, takes me on average an hour to an hour-n-half one way. With the Cam I can zoom past traffic and overtake in the carpool lane from time to time. Having a Manual would kill my legs and the transmission within a couple of days.

But I know that I'll probably hit high 13's or so...I can't keep my foot off the gas in the city, have to rev up that V8 to get all eyes on me
