I am running the DWS in a wide 315 rear size, and find them okay in accumulated snow on level ground.
Good enough for where I live and drive in NJ, but they probably would not cut it in Wisconsin.
In any case, get the narrowest sizes that you are willing to run.

I'm on my third season and 14000 miles with the Gmax's and still going strong. They also seem to hook up better than the p zero's(I have 3.91 gears in w/ a6 auto) and are better in the rain IMO.Are they top of the line, no but they are a great bang for the buck.

I like the Gmax for these cars. They handle well and have very good hydroplanning resistance.

I hate my Motivos worst tire for a V8 ever. if you have any boltons you will be spinning your tires constantly. they float on any watery surface while everyone else can drive 65 in the rain i am constantly having to slow to 55 or less to stop hydroplaning. I have 25k miles on my motivos and looking for next set of winter tires.

My Motivos have been pretty good to me. I'll agree that they don't hook as well as a summer tire but this is my daily, so I didn't have a prob sacrificing a little warm weather traction for some safety in the cold.

That being said, I'm in the middle of ordering up some aftermarket wheels and they'll be mounted on Michelin Pilot Super Sports, leaving the stockers w/ Motivos as a dedicated "winter wheel".

What changed? You seemed to like them at 7k miles?

I didnt have the same power i had at 7k as i have now. I am very upset i tried to talk people into these tires. I just cant now justify having them on my car If i leave out of my neighborhood i barely get on the gas and the ass slides out like im drifting. or if im running on the highway hit the gas to pass someone the tires start spinning at 60+ and the car again goes sideways.

What power level were you at then and now? If you liked them at 7k, that might be good enough for me since I have the v6 anyway
