Easy to set codes on a 2023 ss

Installed a Airaid Jr kit. Just opening the trunk wakes up enough modules to set a code if a sensor is disconnected. Was wondering why my fans were going full speed. Had to look for my code reader and clear the code.

Is the intake tube overly large, throwing the code?

No. I just had the MAF disconnected. All I did was open the trunk, I guess the PCM powers up just opening the trunk. Set a bunch of codes.
It’s not like in the past when only turning the ignition on would throw codes. If I followed the directions to the T and disconnected the battery it wouldn’t have happened

The Airaid Jr kit likely modifies the intake system, altering the airflow sensor readings. This increased sensitivity can trigger trouble codes when the trunk opens because some modules might temporarily "wake up" and detect the change in airflow even though it's not related to engine operation.

OK when you say Airaid JR did you keep your stock airbox? I installed the same Airaid JR and zero codes issues... If you did use the air box, why did you take off the MAF sensor.? I didn't disconnect my battery either.
