Have to sell the Camaro :(
This might be long but please read. After a while of thinking I have decided the best think to do is sell my Camaro. I live in a very wintery location. We have snow 6+ months some years. I drove with Winter Tires last year on my Camaro and it worked but not very well. I am also hoping I can get a little extra cash and put some in savings. I want to get an 07 or newer Silverado Crew Cab. What do you think my Camaro is worth if I sold it privately or traded it in?
Here's a list of the mods I that I will sell the car with. -White interior LED Dome Light -White License plate bulbs. -50% tint side windows -5% tint 1/4 windows and rear -SLP Loudmouth 1 axle-back -Magnaflow x-pipe (part #11386) -Blacked out Bowtie (front & rear) -30% Tinted Headlights -20% Tinted Side Markers, Reverse Lights, and Taillights -Blacked out Visor Warning Covers -Chrome Door Speaker Trim -Faded Black Side Vent Decals -Plasti Dipped Black Rims -Vararam Cold Air Intake -Black Rally Stripes -PW13 Fog Lights -AAC Daytime Running Light Harness Car has 55,1xx miles on it. I removed my underglow interior lighting and will be removing my Subwoofers as well as my Camaro mats.

Well that sucks, hate you have to do that, never actually heard of someone from Fargo.
I don't have an answer to your questions, but good luck, glad you want to stick with a Chevy

I don't know, use Blue Book, car.com, autotrader, see what similar cars are selling for, and really what they are selling for in your area, different parts of the country can really have an affect on used car prices.
How come no one has made a comment about the OP not getting waved to yet?

As for any mods, historically the only way to get any mod money back is to sell them separately

Its retail value is 20k so if you trade expect less. The mods are worthless, they don't increase the value of the car.

Sorry to hear that you have to let it go, but nobody knows your situation better than you. Edmunds lists trade-in value at around $15K in excellent condition. Their price for retail was around $17K. Mods will likely be worth more in a private sale than trade-in. You can search other web sites like KBB or Auto Trader for comparison. The bottom line is that it is worth as much as you can get. Good luck! Hope you find the right buyer!

$20K sounds like a realistic price for your Camaro.
My cousin just bought this for from a used car lot for $18,900. It is a bone stock 2011 1LT auto w/o RS. 44k miles. |

I live in West Fargo, so I understand your situation completely. If my Camaro was my ONLY vehicle, then yes, I'd have to sell it too....or move (prefer the later). I'm fortunate enough to be able to let my car hibernate all winter in my garage. I'm sorry you have to let it go, but I do agree, it's just not possible to drive it year-round in Fargo, at least not safely. Bring it on out to the WF Cruise Night next Thursday.....enjoy it while you can!!!
