In 3.5 weeks this thread will be two years old! Where are we at on this? Just curious about whatever happened to this part or the 2012+ OTR or non-OTR intakes? Did I miss a thread?

Vararam?

We are at the point where if you want a total upgrade of your top end you need to go small bore LS7 heads and MSD manifold and a cam...

The MSD only came out for the LS7 (Hence my previous comment) and the FAST doesn't make enough more power over the stock manifold to justify the price.

Update 10/16/2015

We know the internet has been burning up waiting on information on the VRX manifold.

Hear is the latest:

Several Patents have been filed covering the design and function on some parts of the VRX Manifold. We have received “some” but not all of our Patents at this time. We are currently waiting on the final Patents. We expected these some time ago but unfortunately there is no way to rush the Patent office. Our Patent Attorneys have been able to confirm that the final Patents are currently under review and we expect them to be confirmed and in place shortly.

Once we have the final Patent confirmations, VR will release Videos, independent test data etc...

Production:

We have already started on the production tooling to reduce production lag time. Some of the tooling has already been completed.

Just reading thru this thread... This post is bs from a business perspective. You don't have to wait for a patent to launch a product... You just need to be sure your design doesn't infringe on another patent. A company doesn't have to wait for their own patent application to be granted. A simple IP landscape search will rule out whether or not there is any existing IP that your design infringes on. If not, submit a patent application and move on to developing the product.

In fact, "First to file" is the rule for patents, meaning when you file the application for the patent, that date is the locked in date. If other companies submit for IP with similar claims, but yours was "submitted" before hand, then they should be shit out of luck since you got there first.

The fact is you can launch a product with no patents, with patents pending, or fully approved (patent granted). The latter makes no sense since the patent file (application) date is the important one (not the date the patent was granted).

MSD never came out for LS3, the FAST is a waste of money. A modded stock intake flows better then that.

It's because it's bs and doesn't perform reason it isn't out.
