I've been stopped twice since owning the car last August. Two verbal warnings for speed, never a mention of the lack of the front plate. Both officers walked to the front of the car to check my lights (the halos go dim when blinkers come on via DRL mode), but never mentioned my lack of front plate.

These were both local cops. I've driven by hundreds of state troopers, them seeing me w/o a front plate. They gave me no thought.

This doesn't make what I'm doing right by any means. But I risk it. I have to put it on once a year for inspection but then it comes right off.

It may help that I have a unique university plate. But I doubt that.

Petitions are usually silly, and this one fits the bill.

I've been pulled over 5 times for no front plate, I finally got fed up with it and put the stupid plate on the front bumper. I actually got stopped by the same LEO twice, he told me if he seen me again without a plate it would be a $350 fine! What a f'in joke!

Yeah different county's have different fines. My county is 25$ but county 1 over is 175$

The actual ticket was only $25 bucks but then they tack on a bunch of administrative fees and thats what it comes to after those fees.
