3.45 LSD differential- wanted
I'm in the process of beefing up my drivetrain, unfortunately mine isn't going to last, the posi unit is trashed and the spider gears and axle gears are breaking, (teeth breaking off gears).
Does anyone have a carrier or whole differential they want to sell, I'd like to keep the 3.45's for now, but any lower ratio's would do, like 3.73, 3.90, 4.11, but 3.45 is preferred until I get a beefier differential. I plan on using the Hammerhead differential, I have the axles and driveshaft from the Driveshaft Shop, but I just don't have $4K to get the Hammerhead diff yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I took my diff out today and the spider gears, axle gears and clutch plates are shot, the ring & pinion look ok. I'm putting a hammerhead diff in it soon, just want to get it going till my piggy bank fills up. If your interested in selling the Truetrac let me know. Thanks.

I just took a stock LS3 2012 SS M6 rear end off my car but it has 112000 miles. No slipping and in good condition. Very cheap.

I did forget to ask you if it has the 4.45 gears or the 3.27 gear, but if it's a LS3 it should have the 3.45's.

Thank you all for the help much appreciated!
I have one on the way now, I hope this one last at least till I do the upgrade, my old one really took some abuse from the track (1/4 mile). I wont take it to the track until put the upgraded diff in it with 4.11's, I have/had the driveshaft & axles, since they didn't last long.

I guess I have to spend 10 grand or more to get a good itrader review?
I bought from vendors and members on this forum, spent many hours trying to help others. Let alone the money I spent! I have been a member for 7 years. Just saying.

That differential works better then the new one when I first purchased the car. Seller used MOTUL gear oil. I highly recommend it! diff looked perfect inside for 112000 miles!

I remember this thread from last summer. You responded to l99cama fast! I was looking for a diff. Glad you got it though, i didn't have a broken one. If you ever get the hammerhead and want to sell the one you got from l99cama I'll buy it and give you a good trader review! Ha ha.

Ok, don't really care about the reviews, it is what it is! LOL! I have 2 sets of stock axles and a new stock driveshaft if your interested? A full exhaust (stock), and some other parts I have to look to see what I have. But as soon as I get the stronger diff in it, I'll let it go, it still works great, no slippage from posi, gears are very quiet even with the poly bushings. I'll let you know.

Yeah, good deal. Maybe I'll see you around the SEPA5 meets. I've been to a few of them. We enjoyed the covered bridge run and the pagoda one.
