Going to put a $1,000 deposit down to have a 2SS ordered in Vivid Orange Metallic.

I'm placing the deposit during the 3rd week in May and hope to get a 2023 in VOM, but I know that's cutting it close to the June cutoff & it may cause the order to be pushed back for a 2024 model. Hopefully they'll still offer that VOM in 2024's.

Come on Chevy - get the 2024 configurator up or let us know what the official colors for 2024 will be!

Great color choice. It was 5.5 months for my VOM 2SS to be accepted for production. TPW is next week. During my wait I found many 1SS's if you wanted to settle for the 1SS. If you search on GM's website you could find a 2SS "in-transit" and place money down to purchase.
Lastly, many dealers do not request down payment. This late into 2023 production year, I could see why some would request. Good luck with your journey. Not 100% sure but still believe VOM is carrying forward for 2024
