Title says it, I sat in a '14 ZL1 today, was offered a test drive but I had to decline unfortunately, not able to drive a clutch at the moment, barely able to drive my rental impala when I have to thanks to a negligent driver. Guy sees money everytime I walk in there because of it lol sooo I browse and browse and browse. It was pretty sweet, the nice suede and all the jazz. wanting 68k for it, M6, sunroof etc. seemed to have everything. Hats off to you ZL1 owners, congrats to you all on a very sweet ride!

Woah, $68k?
It must have had every single option and they probably wanted exactly MSRP, or a bit over.
Either way, it's a very fine coupe!

Yeah, to be honest it probably didn't have every option, that dealearship is more of a stealearship. asking 42k for a '14 1ss non rs. Its just the only local chevy dealear within 30 miles. The next one isn't much better, part of the same automotive group. They had an Auto in the back, said they just got it off the truck or something. Both black. To be honest I didn't wanna get out, my back being the extremely extensive part of my injury, my rental impalas seats has nothing on the ZL1 seats, it was like instant relief to an extent when I sat down. Couldn't get a good look, had a doc appointment to meet, missing one of those with an insurance claim is like hanging yourself.

Here in Odessa cuz if the oil boom they are sticker at best mainly 4-6k over sticker and no haggling cuz the next guy that walks in will buy it!

Where I live they are hard to sell. Its a very rural, mountain area, right in the heart of the coal fields so we got a lot of Coal trucks running the roads (for you guys that haven't been here they are huge 18wheelers hauling coal, and sometimes smaller dump trucks) constantly keeping everything dirty and destroying the roads, id be afraid to drive a ZL-1 around here, if I did buy one I'd just build me a garage and park it in there. Set behind the wheel and go Vroom Vroom lol

...well, it's nice to sit in new rides, for some enjoyment, without having to buy.....I do that from time to time, it's fun....

Ah I told the sales rep I had no intention to buy that day, I cant even work at the moment, Got told yesterday my back may NEVER recover. Considering everything I like to do is physical its a pretty hard blow...

But regardless he insisted on sitting in the ZL1 and coming back for a test drive... Which I wont do because I have no interest in buying the ZL1, id rather have an SS and make it my own. But again in no shape to buy anything, hoping the insurance hurries with my ride, claim its fixable... but I beg to differ, with the unibody all warped n such.

Im odd about the refresh, On SS and below models, I can handle the tails, but on the ZL1, and the released pics of the Z/28 I love everything about it. Maybe its the additional accents, or the more aggressive look? Or it could just be me, but either way that's how I feel haha.
