Id recommend Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow for winter tires if you choose to go that route

Noooo. It doesn't get worse than Canada- I threw some snow tires on mine and I have had no problems. Just take it easy and you should be fine.

I daily drove a 69 Camaro for 3 years in the early 80's and IROC's in the early 90's in the Chicago suburbs. It can be done, especially with winter tires and the tech they put in the cars now. That said, there are a few snow days a year that a Camaro would never make it up my driveway, that's what the 2500HD is for.

It doesn't snow that much here in MN, in comparison to MA, but I don't drive my car because of the chemicals and other drivers. People that drive beyond their skill and the weather.

Our corporate headquarters are in MA, I've been there in the winter. I've seen over a foot of snow fall in an hour. Yeah, to the people that live there no big whoop. To those that don't see that kind of thing normally, it's a lot of snow. Google Boston 2015 snow and check out the pics, it was no joke of a season.

As everyone has said, just get a top notch set of good winter tires and you will be fine.

Lifelong Clevelander here, and for those of us who are my age or older (40) there's a good chance the first car you owned was rear wheel drive. Mine was an '85 Regal. 231, 2bbl Rochester carb, 3 speed automatic, front disc/rear drum with no ABS or traction control.

Never had a problem in Cleveland winters. And those cars had close to 70% of their weight up front.

The 6th gen has near 50/50 weight as well as all the modern gadgets.

Good winter tires and just take it easy. A lot of times you can start in second gear which helps too. The key is just taking it easy on the gas and brake.

Yep, last 2 winters I had my C7 out there when the roads were clear-ish.

When my Camaro has 200,000 miles and the rust is eating it away, I will beam with pride because it's the best, most fun car I've ever owned and I could not imagine going through life not driving it every day to work.

Some people do heroin. I drive my Camaro.
