It everything is correctly, put the car in transport mode, and you'll get 4 to 5 weeks out of the battery with no problems with no charger. I did it all last summer.

The Camaro used a lead acid battery. That I know of GM doesn't use a AGM in any vehicle they sell currently.

The v6 batt is AGM, clearly marked that way. Will post pic of my batt next week.

The dash will then throw up a message confirming Transport Mode. To get it back out of Transport mode, do the same thing again. no not posted above. I found it in another thread. but that was wrong. I just went out and my SS has a type 48 AGM in it. If you look up the charger that comes wit hut cars it says Lead Acid only on the front cover
