Nice driving Did you get the R7s for stock sizes on the OEM wheel? How many events do you think they last?

Sorry I should have clarified, I'm running BC Forged RZ39 wheels in 18x10.5 and 18x12. I'm running 295/30/18 and 315/30/18. I ran another 6 sessions with them at The Glen this past weekend and are still holding up great. I've got a total of 11 sessions on them and I'm hoping to get a total of 20+ sessions so 1 or 2 more events? I've never run them before but I hear varying feedback on their lifespan. When these do wear out, I'm going to step up to 35 series tires to get back to stock height albeit with a smaller front/rear ratio of diameters.

Thanks for the information. I was also considering getting a set of BC forged wheels with same sizes Did you get the knurled bead seats option as well? If not, have you noticed any tire slipping and/or vibration due to slipped weights? What are the offsets by the way? Are you also using camber plates? Camber up front?

Thanks in advance

I am running Moreno camber plates with -2.5 camber up front. I didn't ask the shop what they set the knuckle to before setting camber at the plates, but I think close to -1.1. The inside of the rim does rub the strut mount VERY slightly under hard cornering so when I do a fresh alignment next year I'll ask them to pull more camber out of the knuckle to give me more clearance. I am getting really good temps across the tire so I don't think I need any more than -2.5.

I did do the knurled bead seat option, I haven't marked the tires to check how much rotation, if any, is happening.

I think the offsets are 14mm in front and 57mm in rear, I ordered thru Paul at PK Design and he can set it up. I was anxious about it but they did a good job with strut and brake clearance.

Sub 2:10 ain’t messing around, congrats. Yeah, I was blown away by WGI! Just wish it wasn’t 10 hours away! Trying to coral some friends to make the trip up with me next year- Still easier trip than VIR. Speaking of VIR—not really looking forward to that drive next month, however...VIR in the fall is pretty spectracular. Carolinas PCA always puts on a great event to close out the year.

What group are you doing VIR with? I was thinking I'd do Audi Club in early Nov but not sure yet.
