So did you do the Ceramic or did you pay to have it done?

Can they mess it up? I just don't understand how the application process is. They said that they would fix the factory paint issues. I have always been told factory paint is the best

A combo...my brother in law is a certified installer and I have a detailing business, we did my car together and I paid him for the product and his time. I paid $250...he would charge $800 to do the car normally at his business

The ceramic pro will not "fix" flaws...if they do a paint correction first and then ceramic pro it, then you're good. That's what we did to my car...to remove the dealership's detailing scratches

I'm going to test laying down 9H material on my wrap for protection. Just waiting for confirmation on when my detail guy wants to test a small amount on a panel and see if its a waste of time

They said they will do a paint correction. That kind of scares me as isn't factory paint always better?

Paint correction is polishing the car, it doesn’t have anything to do with factory paint.....It is what cost the most dollars when you get a ceramic. The ceramic is fairly cheap, it’s the eight hours of polishing to get ready for the ceramic that costs you money.

I just recently coated my 2ss and I had roughly 12 hours of decon, polishing and prep into it. That's where the $900-$1000 comes in. I went with Gyeon Mohs and really enjoyed using it. Very user friendly and my results were amazing.

I'm a pro level detailer and ceramic coatings are worth it. The water behavior(hydrophobic properties) are amazing with a quality coating. The 9H hardness will help(not eliminate) wash induced swirls. Let someone do it who know what they're doing. Trust me.
