I got $2500 off invoice ($1000 dealer discount + $1500 Chevy loyalty).. Not the best deal but I figured all the KG cars will be going pretty quick and I didn't want to miss out on that color.

Maybe not for a long time, it's not something GM plans to do. If they have a particularly slow month of sales they might do it, but only on the models they have way too much inventory of. Waiting for it is a crapshoot, you could be waiting for a long time.
