Louvers for Gen 6?

I have an option for a decent set of louvers for my new camaro. Just not sure how they would look.....

Here is my car and the louvers I'm thinking about.......Thoughts? Pros or cons of having these?

I am in the same boat as you, I would like some because they look so retro but I don’t want to pay to find out I do not like them, and most of the fastening methods are kind of cheesy. The upside is with the camera rear view mirror my line of sight is not affected.

$0.02, but feels rather busy-looking in that shot -- and that's despite the fact that they are essentially "body-colored".

For the cleaner look, which I think your car's color really calls for, I'd want fully-horizontal and maybe with only a single support ridge in the middle.

Where would you find one with a single support ridge? Would like to see what it would look like.
Also, the pic I posted are new in box for $200.

Try here maybe...https://www.camaro6.com/forums/searc...chid=149289080

My first thought was they would be good for the desert/Arizona....But snow? Might be problematic...dunno...Good luck.

I think those are unattractive and would be even moreso on your grey.

I think someone should come up with the accessory rental company for cars where you can rent the accessory/mod for a week to see if it’s right for you

Well, they guy selling them told me to stop by and we can just lay the louvers on the back wondow to see what they would look like before buying......
Guess I can't go wrong with at least going to take a look.
If I do end up with them, should I also get the ones for the small side windows or would that be too much.......

Sorry, but they just look chunky and clunky and cheap and mess up the clean, smooth body lines of the car.

I hate the jagged looks of the plastic ones and would prefer something that is more of a throwback style to compliment the nostalgic lines of the car. MRT made a nice looking aluminum set for the fifth gen - they were curved rather than 70's-style angled at the ends. Unfortunately MRT did not come out with a comparable set for the sixth gen!

Willpak has listed a more traditional looking aluminum set for the sixth gen. Other than one YouTube video review though, I have not seen any sign of the Willpak aluminum louvers in the wild. I tried to order a set from CarID and the order ended up being cancelled...

Here's my forum thread regarding my search for that unicorn product, as it sounds like the Willpak set (if available) might match your preferred criteria:

From the rear it looks like the sun melted the middle blades and they sag. But then again, I'll stick with my vert going top less.

I don’t like the look of those at all.
