Are Vette owners with LT1's having any issues with this intake over time? Vacuum leaks and requiring re-torquing?

Numbers are pretty good. With a tune, it'll be even higher.

Engine cover DOES NOT work on this. C7 owners HAVE come up with a fix for this though.

Which is posted right on this page.......

Ordered

So lets see how it goes with a full exhaust, MSD Airforce Intake, VMax throttle body.. Now if only JDP offered a CAI.. Then the first part of mods would be done.

Who makes a larger T/B for the LT1? What is it 102 or 103mm?

That looks very clean!

The car feels great! I did a little tuning Saturday afternoon and it is much more responsive. I'll work on getting it back on the dyno this week for tuned numbers.

Seriously though, look at how the whole area under the torque curve increased, that's power that you will definitely notice. Add a ported throttle body and tune and you should see even more gains.

My only gripe with this mod is the appearance of the manifold. I could do without the MSD logo in big letters on it.
Yeah, I still like the look but we've cleaned them up on a number of LS7's and they look great!

We used a $1.00 clamp and it comes off the rear center manifold bolt. You can see it in this picture. We're working on a cross-over that goes behind the manifold as well as a clamp that will be provided for Camaro applications.

We always recheck them after the first few heat cycles but no issues for us.

The center cover won't work but the side covers will with modification.

That and a CAI, Heads and a camshaft!

I appreciate your business and support!

I'm not aware of a larger TB as of yet but the 87mm TB works very well for any stock displacement set up. I wouldn't go 102mm unless it was a large displacement NA build.

We appreciate all of the support! Have a great evening and stay tuned for further testing and results!

Kind regards,

So I'm a little curious, are you guys going to fab up a CAI or wait for something to come out?

I've seen the temperatures on the stock air intake and they run hot as hell. So I'm assuming the cooler air will make a nice difference.

Not likely. We will keep with our major manufacturers for the 6th Gen intake systems. Roto-Fab is should have something soon ish. Heavy on the ish. As soon as they're available though, we'll be doing comparison.

All the best,
