Adams 2 Stage polish on 2010 RJT SS - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So my wife got me an early Father's day gift and it was the AdamsPolishes polish kit with the porter cable. So i asked my coworker to show me the ropes of compounding and polishing. So we started the day at 0800 and that was a simple wash and clayed using the NanoSkin fine grade attached to a 6"backing plate. Right after that we pulled it into my garage and got to work! 8 hours later we had it all taken down (well at least 95% of it) and i started wiping my car down with an IPA solution. Then i started sealing it. i used two coats of Menzerna PowerLock(first coat was 3 hours and second coat was 12 hours) then i followed that with 2 coats of Collinite Insulator Wax. (Both only set for 45 mins.)

Here is the finished product.

Get your money back as soon as possible!!!! All I see is clouds a wheel and more sky. Who would put a paint job on a Camaro like that! J/K that is some very good detailing! Well worth the time spent, The only bad thing is when you put that much work into it, only a handful really notice it, Take it to a car show soon, that is where you really get the appreciation to detail that you deserve.

I really appreciate it! This being my first time doing it i think it came out great! I only did it to get ready for the fathers day car show this sunday. So this friday night i just need to pull the wheels off to clean them and clean the wheel wells and ill be good to go!

Thank you! It took me a minute to get used to the Adams Polish. at first it was dusting alot but just from operator error! haha.
