2014 Owners Manual:

To select the Bluetooth Music Setup
menu when a device is not attached
to the USB port, or when a device is
attached to the USB port but not
active:

1. Press the CD/AUX button until
AUX is the active source.

2. Press the MENU/SELECT knob.

3. Select Bluetooth Music Setup.

To select the Bluetooth Music Setup
menu when a Bluetooth device is
connected and active:

1. Press the MENU/SELECT knob.

2. Select Bluetooth Music Setup.

Pairing a Device

1. Select Connect To New Device
from the Bluetooth Music
Setup menu.

2. The system asks a series of
Yes/No questions to determine
what type of device is being
paired.

3. After the system determines
what type of Bluetooth device is
being paired, the Bluetooth
device will need to be put into
discovery mode.

4. Some devices may require a
personal identification number
(PIN) in order to complete the
pairing process. Locate the
device named “GMusicConnect”
in the list on the Bluetooth
device and follow the
instructions on the device to
enter the four-digit PIN provided
by the infotainment system.

If you don't have these options, you may not be equipped for it.

How do I get my music to stream AND be able to use my phone through my car?

Sorry stal023, but the LS models do not have the ability to stream music via bluetooth. I have a 2015 LS model as well and I chose to install an aftermarket stereo that has bluetooth streaming as well for when my wife is in my camaro and wants to listen to her music for a while without having to plug anything in. I normally use a hidden usb drive that has my entire music collection to listen to.

Try an mpow Bluetooth receiver. It plugs into the aux input but it'll allow you to use Bluetooth to stream your music instead of having to use an aux cord. I also use one and have it plugged into a 12 volt charger so it never dies. The battery is long lasting on its own tho too. And you can set it up on your phone Bluetooth settings so call audio goes to your car and media audio goes to the mpow receiver. It's way cheaper than buying a whole new head unit and it works for me while I save for the mylink kit.

I have a 13 2SS and I currently have an LG G3 and I play music on my phone via Bluetooth and can make and receive calls with no problems. The only issue is that because I have two music apps on my phone, the stock LG and one called Doubletwist, the phone will randomly start one or the other but that's not really a big deal though.

Are you sure you don't have a 1LS? LS1s were 346 cid engines that were installed in 1997-04 Corvettes, 1998-02 Camaros/Firebirds, 2004 GTOs etc.

Do you have My Link? These cars have 2 Bluetooth connections in them. One for hands free calling and one for playing music. The one for hands free calling is in the On-Star module. The one for playing music is part of the audio system. On the 2010-12 models, it was in a module called the PDIM, which was connected to the audio system. PDIMs were standard on the 2LT, 2SS and optional on other models, but all cars were pre-wired for them, so they could be added. The 2013-15 models no longer have PDIMs or the harness to connect them. The ones with My Link have the PDIM functions built into the My Link. The ones without My Link don't have audio Bluetooth, PDIMs or the harness to connect one. The bottom line is, on 2013-15s, if you have My Link, you can Bluetooth music. If you don't, you can't, but you can still do hands free calling, if you have Bluetooth in your On-Star module.

Hope this helps.
