Today marks a significant milestone in Camaro history. On June 28th, 1966...Chevrolet general manager Pete Estes announced to the world a brand new car that was a "small, vicious animal that eats Mustangs"; and was to be called the Chevrolet Camaro.

Now on that same day, exactly 50 years later; Chevrolet, in partnership with Camaro6.com, are proud to announce what we're calling the "Camaro Factory Fest" at the Grand River Assembly Plant in Lansing, Michigan.

Tour the Lansing Grand River Assembly Plant
See where the Camaro is made on this self-guided tour of the Lansing Assembly Plant. Employees and Guides will be on-hand to help explain what you're seeing at various stages of the tour.

Official registration for the tours is first-come, first-served, on-site.

View Past, Present, and Future Camaros on Display
INCLUDING THE NEW 2017 ZL1, Chevrolet will have all generations on display for your viewing, to celebrate the rich history and heritage of Camaro on this, it's 50th birthday.

Speak with Engineers, Designers, and Chevrolet personnel
Employees and Camaro Team members will be on-hand to discuss all things Camaro. There will also be a displays and presentations of Camaro-related topics.

Park in a Camaro-Only parking lot
Register for Show and Shine parking if you will to have your Camaro judged in a formal car show. Register for Camaro preferred parking if you're driving your Camaro to the event, and register for General Parking if you're driving to the event in something else.

Participate in a Show & Shine Car show
Registration information, and classes forthcoming. Enter your car-show-ready Camaro in this judged competition for a chance at an award to honor your efforts.

We're mostly worried about parking space...since we're restricted to just a few lots on the factory premises.
