2019 limited edition
Just wanna say how happy I am with my 2019 2ss 1le and how excited I am it's the only year this front end will ever be made. 30 years from now it could be worth alot who knows. Either way I doubt I'm gonna see another 2019 2ss 1LE on the road and I love it.

Now doubt the 1Le will be more sought after then regular SS models and being the only year the front end was available is a major plus . The less that were made and the more performance is what collectors want . It took a while before people came around to the Split Bumpers on the 70s Camaros, i see the same happening to the 19s .It is a much better looking front end then the dummy down version on the 2020, especially on the 1Le. Its been funny hearing all the people crying about the front end of the 19 ,they need to team up with the people crying the SS 1Le needs a automatic transmission, its all just silly .

2019 is not the only year the MODEL is being made. It's the only year for that front end. Big difference. Don't count on it being worth more in 30 years either. Generally, when something is hated by the masses when it comes out, that tends to hold true in the future as well.

Also a big assumption gas powered cars will have a huge collector market in a future that makes it illegal to drive one on public roads and where people don't even own cars because everyone ubers since the cost of living ensures nobody has the expendable cash.

Considering most magazines and reviewers bashed the 2019 SS so bad I'm not seeing a reason to think it's going to turn into a big collectible. I think it is the Ford Edsel of the Camaro world.

https://bringatrailer.com/acura/integra-type-r/ Not to mention Mark IV Supra prices, or R34 Skylines any vintage NSX (save the new ones, ironically). It's completely misguided to think a muscle car of almost any variety will be where the collector car market is in the future. The cars of the youth of Gen X/Millenials both in volume and pop culture are imports. The halo cars were imports. Market is already shifting that direction, will only get worse. Simply put, this 1969 Camaro and 1999 Civic Si have exactly the same value, but market for the '69 is literally dying off while those who'd want the '99 are just starting to get disposable income. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...let-camaro-32/ https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1999-honda-civic-13/ |

I think the same can be said of the COPO 427 Camaros. The fastest and rarest production Camaro is the ZL-1 427 Big-block, COPO #9560. Starting with an SS396/375-hp Camaro, the heavy-duty F41 suspension package was added, as was a cowl-induction hood, front disc brakes, and a choice of either close-ratio 4-speed or Turbo-Hydramatic transmission. The rear axle was upgraded to a 12-bolt positraction unit with 4:10 gearing. All SS trim was removed from the car, as was the SS-396 big-block. In its place went the aluminum-block, aluminum-head 427 ZL-1 motor, fitted with 12.25:1 compression forged aluminum pistons. Intake manifold and water pump were also aluminum. All ZL-1 engines were balanced and blue-printed before installation, and had a torque rating of 450 foot-pounds at 4,400 rpm. Although advertised horsepower rating was 430, actual power from ZL-1 equipped Camaros was nearer 550-horsepower. http://www.classic-car-history.com/1969-camaro.htm Yep, I don't think you'll see any million dollar Honda Civics or Integras. https://www.hagerty.com/articles-vid...ensive-camaros Car collecting is as risky as betting on horses or playing craps in Vegas. I've owned a couple of cars that I should have hung on to. However, when I bought them they were old. When I sold them, they were older and had more wear. Thinking 40 years into the future was not my forte when I was in my early 20's.

Love my front end and entire 1LE
Creative customisation can always create a unique look on any front end I have had nothing but great reactions to the style myself and since I am the only 1LE around Vancouver I know of, even more eye catching |
