Can you explain in detail why it needs a Supercharger in particular?

If it had a moon roof/sun roof you'd lose your tin foil hat every time you went fast...just sayin...

Note to GM: Just make it a bad ass Mthr-Fkr

I was about to say the same thing, so to you, sir. The only absolute must-have's for a Z28 should be improved handling, improved power, and a price that's competitive with the GT500. Anything else, like having or not having a sunroof, is up for debate.

You are waaaaaaaaaay to caught up on that. GM can't bring it to market any sooner than they are. So, if you don't want it released in late 2011 alright. The next possible time isn't mid 2011 but early 2012, followed by mid 2012.

Also, severe winter weather is only a problem for maybe half their market. The other half has enough decent weather in winter that it doesn't really matter. And I would be willing to bet that GM (and their parts suppliers) would prefer for Z28 sales to get strung out so they can cope with demand better. I would absolutely hate to be waiting for years to get a Z28, order it in June, then find out there is a 3 month wait to get one. By the time it arrives in my driveway, summer is over.

Okay to clarify it:

3) must have a moonroof option

And like I said: these are all reasonable requests - they're not unprecedented. All of them are available on the SS, except for the handling but fixing that is a reasonable enough suggestion on a GT500-killer.

And yes Spring 2011 would be nice, but at least get it released by the beginning of summer - please?

I'm assuming that stripes will be standard (or obviously at least, optional), but if they are standard with the Z28, I really hope they offer a stripe delete option. Stripes are nice, but I greatly prefer the look of a clean, solid color car.

I assume that like the Z06...there will only be a hardtop version if all the LSA/LS9 fans get there wish. If those of us that prefer an LS7 car there might be a chance, but i still would rather see an LS7 car that handles like/better than a ZR1/Z06. Then chevy can follow suit like Ford, and have SLP offer a supercharged LS7 car, much like SLP tweaked the 4th gen Z28's into the top dog offered by the General. I would love an LS7 with a raspy camshaft, and longtubes with old school chambered exhaust, center exit would be different looking.

I would love to see a nod to the Z28 heritage with an under rated LSA that is putting out 600HP with a 556HP published HP rating...

I always think it funny when one person tries to "tell" GM what they must have. Not everyone wants the same thing.

I don't know if it's been said, but Sun/Moon roof's are usually put in aftermarket. You can easily get them done somewhere outside of GM for around 900$

Instead of being a smartass, why don't you point out which option exactly is unreasonable? Everything I asked is logical and reasonable, and available on the SS (except the handling).

helmet hits the roof in a moonroof so no hole in the top , lighter weight , coilovers, supercharged forged LS7 or LSA. and 3.73 rear gear.
