Does a three stage include wet sanding?

They're are areas where it looks like someone was vigorously trying to scrub something off of it. Dealer said it sat in the showroom for the majority of its life at the dealer not sure how he didn't see these markings all over it. SMH

I would do it myself if I were you. I had scratches like that and got them out. Before you call dealer go to YouTube and search "paint polishing". Lots of info on detailing your car. Ammo NYC, Adams polishing, junkman etc.
The key to a scratch, swirl free paint, is don't touch it.

That's what happens when the car is taken through a drive through car wash. The darker the paint, the easier it is to see.

Its not at all uniform its random spots throughout the car which leads me to think it had something on it and someone scrubbed those areas in low light and probably didnt realize they were making it worse by removing whatever was on it. Looks like they used a freaking scotch brite pad to clean it.

The dealer lied and probably the worst place it could set is in the show room. Everybody wants to rub there hands on it, the salesman or someone probably wipes it down everyday with dry towel and since the paint sucks on these cars its pretty easy to scratch. Mines had the front bumper painted, lower rockers back to the rear tires. But what did you expect for 65k. Seriously that sucks and sorry to hear.

it was washed with a dirty towel at the dealer. As others have said, it'll come out with a polishing, but you'll get more every time you wash it or touch it tho.
I haven't painted in about 10 years, but I can't believe the paint thickness is only 1mil - that would include primer and clear coat. 5-6 mils used to be the std.

edit: just checked our late model toyota, came in at ~3.5 mils

Prime example why you NEVER let the dealer wash your car. EVER. I tell them no wash no vacuum.

This is why I tell the dealers to not wash my new car when it comes in. Just leave it dirty.

Yeah that really sucks and there's more than one problem going on here because the paint is too thin to begin with and so easily scratched and then the dealer choked. what a mess
