I'll be fine with a Corvette engine in an SS.

Uh wasn't aware of that.

Worked on Corvette for many years and around a lot of Corvette folks, Mrs. Number 3 was Corvette Marketing Manager for years. This never came up. So not sure where that comment comes from. Not saying there isn't someone with that concern, but it isn't a concern on the radar.

Maybe it never came up because the Vette got the engine first so it was a non issue.

I'm happy that the Corvette engine is used in the Camaro, despite the fact that its $20k cheaper.

Chevy won't put better engines in the Camaro than in the Corvette, so you will either get the same or worse options.

It's not a Corvette or Camaro engine. The LSx and LTx are corporate engines that get used across a wide variety of cars.

Thank the man upstairs that the corvette gets to be the test dummies for the new engines! Because you guys would be crying and complaining like babies if you had to go through what some new Z06 owners are going through! Sometimes the benefits of being second out ways the benefits of being first!

True. It was the same when the LT1 debuted in the C7. There were quite a few blown engines due to metal shavings reportedly caused by an issue with the oil filters.

Vette gets the new toys, I am happy about it. The data logger and camara is sexy and CTSV already benefits from it
