Interesting deal... But think about it... A 1SS at invoice would be $37000... Over a period of next 5 years you will be paying $7000 more... That is $1400 extra per year... Which is ~$116 per month.... But the 1ss will be less depreciated than a 2ss since it's a newer model ... Performance size you get better performance and better interiors... So think about what you are missing out and gaining before signing the papers... Good luck...

We need more details in order to validate how good this deal really is. Need full details on both cars. options, mileage on your car, payoff amount, etc. putting your trade in aside for the moment, a 2SS 1le is typically north of $40k so if you can really buy one for $30k that is certanly a good deal. I drive a loaded 2013 2SS 1LE and wholesale value on the car is still 24-25k all day long, so if you can pick up 2 years newer for $5k more that is a great buy. Now factor your trade back in, if they are undervaluing your trade-in by 5k or more, well then none of this matters. Forget what the payoff is on your car, you need to get in writing what they are giving you for the trade-in. Negotiate without the trade-in.

My dealer has a 15 z/28 for 20,000 off which makes it 55,000...and they already sold another z/28 they had at that price. The other 5th gens on the lot are almost all gone.

Nothing up here in Canada advertised about big discounts... :(
I got a price for a 1LE in July just under $39K (CDN). If that went down to $32K / $33K I would have a hard choice too. That would make it over $10,000 cheaper than a 2016. |

I don't think that you can combine the two. I asked about this in regards to GM Employee discount along with the Black Friday 20% and two dealers said no. It really is an amazing offer with just the 20% I looked at a 2SS Red 1LE with Dual Mode, and the total price less taxes was $33,137. If they would allow Employee Pricing it would have dropped to $30,000 or so.
